Bap Cat: Game Jam

A cat spreading destruction in their owner's cafe, to get more attention from them

A Game Jam hosted by DEA

As the title suggests, this game was made during a 3-day game jam held by my school (DEA), where we had to group up with other people if we wanted to work on this project.

My role during this project was primarily that of game designer and tech artist, as we aimed to implement an outline effect in the game using two distinct methods: a colored outline and a general black outlining. We also wanted a simple game mechanic to program, as we had only one experienced programmer, so going with a Unity physics-based mechanic, such as knocking objects over with simple collision, sounded like the most fun idea for this project.  

In my group for this project, we decided to take it easy because many of us were burnt out from previous school assignments. 

We didn't win the game jam, but we managed to rise in the popularity rankings to fourth.
